Professional photographer Filip Welna originally hails from the picturesque historic city of Cracow in Poland. Emigrating at the age of fifteen with his family he has called Perth home for the past 15 years. Photography has been a life long passion ever since receiving a “Smiena”, a simple Russian made rangefinder, as a 7 year old.

Always striving to produce original images in his photography, he enjoys the challenges and opportunities associated with using natural light and has a keen eye for colour and those small but all important details.

When he is not working on his photos, Filip enjoys the Great Outdoors (where he is known to get out the tripod and take some landscapes) 4WD and travelling around Australia and beyond.
